God of War Ragnarök - Asgard

Here is one of the environments I worked on during my time at Santa Monica Studio for God of War Ragnarok. This was a very intense area of the game with a lot of fx and characters so the environments had to be extremely well optimized and very functional for the crazy battle that is Ragnarok. Special thanks to the other environment artists Sukru Gilman, Timo Pihlajamaki, and Tyler Siemers for making this all possible!

Vicki Smith - All the Game design, Triggering events etc. but she also helped FX department by creating Flipbook animations for characters fighting etc. Placing them in the levels etc. She was the spider in the web, organizing all these events you see here.

Sam Delfanti - Kit bashed main path areas, created Temple, Tower variants and he helped me with final polish in all trench areas. He also worked on the wall collapse level towards city, seen further down this page.

Jon Arellano - Kitbashed main path by the wall tower while also working on city side of Ragnarok events, by Odin's house and all the crazy end fight arenas.

Sukru Gilman - Kit bashed the main path after Rhiannon's sections, city street/assets and we reused our foliage/rock assets seen on "Outskirt" page.

Tyler Siemers - We reused his wooden supports, poles, ballista LODs. He aslo worked with Sukru on his 1st section.
